From President and CEO Calvin Butler discussing energy and AI with the Atlantic Council to discussions led by Sunny Elebua, Tamla Olivier, Gil Quiniones, and Diana Sharpe on sustainability, grid modernization, rising demand and the future energy system, leaders shared perspectives on practical solutions that will benefit customers.
The discussions with technology innovators, utilities and industry stakeholders were centered around the most pressing challenges facing the energy sector, from meeting AI-driven demand growth and strengthening infrastructure to maintaining affordability while supporting economic growth.

Multiple storms. One shared mission.
After tornadoes, flooding and 100 mph winds impacted northern Illinois, ComEd called for mutual assistance and crews from Exelon’s Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power (Delmarva Connect) and PepcoConnect stepped up to help. The collaborative effort helped restore power to more than 400,000 customers, with 99% of residents back online within a week.
