We envision a world where LGBTQ+ people are ensured equality at home, at work & in every community. Our goal is to let Chicago feel HRC's presence!
The Chicago Steering Committee of the Human Rights Campaign is a diverse group of committed volunteers working each and every day to end discrimination against LGBT people and achieve fundamental fairness and equality for all LGBT people and their allies. We are working on offering a wide range of volunteering oppurtunties to unite our hundreds of volunteers and help in the LGBT community and beyond! We do everything from working in a soup kitchen, working with LGBT youth, to planning our annual black tie gala. What a night!!!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our HRC Chicago Open House in Arlington Heights! We were thrilled to partner with Glen’s Friends , an organization making a meaningful difference for LGBTQ+ people across the northwest suburbs. And a special thank you to CoCo and Blu Café 💙 for graciously hosting us and helping create such a welcoming space. We’re grateful for everyone who showed up, connected, and continues to stand with us in the fight for equality!

We are in mourning. Dolly was such a champion for the LGBTQ+ community. May she rest in peace and rhinestones!
