An insane impact update for you guys today! 🚨
We have officially hit our weight donation goal for 2026 of 350,000lbs only 7 months into the year! 😱😱😱
That's over 291 THOUSAND meals provided to people all across Chicago facing food insecurity.
We wanted to extend the biggest thank you to all of our amazing donors and volunteers that have donated and transported food this year; this milestone doesn’t get hit without you guys 💜💚

Happy (almost) August and happy ! As we near the end of summer (😢) and head into back to school season we just want to extend our appreciation once again to you guys toughing it out in the Summertime-Chi heat to get food to people.

We're halfway through the month of June and we have already reached 20,000 pounds of food rescued! We at CFR want to say thank you to our amazing donor partners and volunteers for all that you do to help feed the community, keep up the good work! 💚

This month we rescued over 25,000 meals for people in Chicago! 🤩💜💚
Help us keep this work going by donating with a donation this weekend! Just $10 is enough to feed one person for a week. There’s no donation too small, any amount helps get food to our community members!

Shoutout to all of our volunteers who have kept up with rescues this last unseasonably cool week this summer. It’s gonna heat up starting next week so make sure you bring some sunscreen for your rescues in the future! 😎☀️
