Djunah

The new Djunah album “GIALLO” is live for preorder on Bandcamp🩸 🩸 👑 🩸 🩸

What started as having fun with analog synths and 60s/70s Italian horror soundtracks turned into a totally wild and deeply impassioned noise-rock opera about complex trauma. And I’m so proud of it.

This is my first solo album, and that gave me the freedom to go wherever the music wanted to take me. I gave myself no limits on this one. From composing for a live horn section to programming my fantasy drums to playing a waterphone, I just went wherever my heart led me, and—like any great giallo soundtrack—it led me everywhere.

It’s been a dream of mine to incorporate a badass horn section into a rock album that still sounds every ounce like me, and I can’t believe I did it.

I’ve got so much to share with you over the coming weeks about the meaning, process, and purpose behind this record.

But for now, if you want to support me, head over to Bandcamp. I’ve got two vinyl variants, a lyrics and photography book, CDs, and a few collectors bundles for anyone who wants to send some extra love my way.

It’s been a long road, and I seriously appreciate the support ♥️🙏

(EU/UK: Right now I can only ship from the US, but if it changes, I’ll let you know!)
