Thank you to Prevention First for the opportunity to present at the Opioid Learning & Response Collaborative (OLRC) networking event this month.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with prevention professionals, treatment providers, recovery organizations, community leaders, and other dedicated partners working to strengthen recovery supports across Illinois.
I had the privilege of sharing the work Phoenix Recovery Support Services is doing to help individuals build pathways to long-term recovery through recovery housing, peer support, workforce development, recovery capital, and community partnerships. Our message was simple: housing is the foundation, but long-term recovery is built through connection, opportunity, and support.
The conversations throughout the event reinforced something we strongly believe at Phoenix: no single organization can do this work alone. Collaboration gives all of us a bigger voice, stronger impact, and greater opportunities to support individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.
