If you want your nonprofit to get more donors, one of the best things you can do is create better content. 🤝

That starts with telling stories about real people instead of talking about your own nonprofit, because people want to hear how you've helped others, not what you have to say about yourselves. Try mixing up your content formats too: video, photos, and infographics all tell a stronger story than text alone.

Today is World Alzheimer's Day, and we're spotlighting one of the incredible nonprofits we work with: Alzheimer's San Diego. 💙

Their team provides care, education, and community support for families living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, entirely free of charge. In 2024, their Walk4ALZ fundraiser raised nearly $500,000 to help keep that support going, and a team of just 27 serves an average of 20,000 instances of support and service every year. 🤝

Swipe through to learn more about the work they do, and visit alzsd.org to see how you can get involved.

Hitting your Q4 goal shouldn't come at the cost of burning out you or your team.

Join Abby Jarvis, our Head of Research, and Marcia Beckner, founder and CEO of Culture CARES Global, on Thursday, September 24 from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. ET for a session built to prevent that. You'll walk away with a ready-to-use 90-day Q4 and Giving Tuesday roadmap, plus a leadership shift that protects your team's energy so year-end success doesn't cost you your best people.

We'll cover why protecting staff energy is part of your Q4 strategy, not a nice-to-have competing with it, a weekly rhythm that replaces the white-knuckle sprint most nonprofits default to, and a month-by-month roadmap for October, November, and December so you leave with an actual calendar, not just inspiration.

If you're gearing up for Giving Tuesday, this one's for you.

What actually makes someone give, and keep giving to your nonprofit? We surveyed more than 2,000 donors to find out.

What we found is that people give and keep giving for the same reasons: a real connection to your mission, and the belief that their gift makes a difference. 🤝 That overlap matters because it means the same things that earn a first gift are what turn it into a recurring one, if you reinforce them at the right moments.

Swipe through for the full breakdown, plus 3 ways to put these findings into practice and grow your recurring donor base.

Comment REPORT and we'll send you the complete findings from our Generosity Report.

Are you struggling with getting repeat donors? It might be your email strategy. ✉️

To make your emails more effective, stop sending one-size-fits-all messages. Instead, segment your audience, personalize your messages, and test different subject lines to see what makes people want to open your email. Always use clear call-to-action buttons, and keep your content concise.

Comment below EMAIL and we'll send over our complete nonprofit marketing checklist.

What if your fundraising team had a veteran consultant on call, without the consultant price tag?

Join us September 23, 1 to 2 p.m. ET, to meet Margaret: an affordable subscription consulting service from Hudson Ferris, now paired with Neon One. Molly Breitbart, Director of Digital Innovation and Strategy at Hudson Ferris, will walk you through how it works.

You'll learn how Margaret gives your team real-time access to expert advice, from prospect pipelines to board development. You'll also see how pairing it with Neon CRM helps you build stronger donor relationships, raise more money, and grow your team's capacity without growing your budget. 🤝

Will you be at the NIO Summit September 22–24 in Fort Worth? Stop by Booth B20 and say hello!

You'll see how Neon Intelligence brings AI into the workflows you already use in your nonprofit, helping you move faster and access the insights you need to support your fundraising, without having to rely on disconnected tools.

You can also check out Abby Jarvis's session, Low Friction, High Reward: Testing AI-Personalized Donation Amounts. She'll share the first results from customers piloting it, compare how it performs against a standard donation form, and talk through when to (and when not to) use AI in your nonprofit.

We hope to see you there!

If your nonprofit does even three of these, you deserve a gold star. And probably a nap. 😅

All of these activities add up, and it's the reason people keep supporting your work. Keep going! ⭐️

Running a nonprofit is hard enough. You shouldn't need five different tools just to see the full picture.

That's why everything you need should live in one place. 🙌
