The relationship you have with your body is for life. Make sure it’s a good one. 🤌🏼
Could you imagine a relationship going well if these were the actions and comments from your partner:
⚡️Only allows you coffee for breakfast
⚡️Tells you you don’t have time for a lunch break, you have quotas to meet
⚡️Scrolls aimlessly on his phone instead of listens
⚡️Tells you if worked out more you’d be better looking
⚡️Never asks how you’re doing or how he can make your life easier
⚡️Reminds you you don’t need that dessert
⚡️Never prepares you a meal, or keeps making meals that he knows don’t make you feel good
⚡️Tells you to burn off the calories you ate
⚡️Tells you to ignore your hunger because you’ve had too many calories today
⚡️Never grocery shops, or only gets things you don’t actually like
⚡️Doesn’t check in when you’re sick, gives you some ibuprofen and moves on with his day
⚡️Compares you to other girls on the internet
⚡️Gives you s**t for taking a rest day
⚡️Makes you feel bad for eating something you enjoy
⚡️Completely checks out at dinner time, just grazes and watches his show
Yeah. You’d kick that guy (or girl or whomever) to the curb if they were treating you like that. Yet, our bodies can’t do that. They are literally ride or die. Stuck with us and our behavior for life. Putting up with neglect or pressure constantly. Then putting up with more s**t when they finally break down.
Instead of rushing the process of healing, take time to repair.
Start with questions like:
✅ How are you feeling?
✅ How can I support you?
✅ What can I do to make your life easier?
Start with actions like:
✅ Setting time aside to be present, listen, feel and respond
✅ Showing your body that it’s a priority to you
✅ Doing small consistent gestures that remind it you care
Start with statements like:
✅ You are important
✅ You are worthy
✅ You deserve…
When we start showing up in relationship with our bodies, the dynamic changes.
If you’re stuck not knowing what it is your body needs or how to start, an expert can help.

The healthiest people in the world and those with chronic illnesses and symptom-filled days have a big thing in common: they have to master the basics. ✨
A big part of that mastery isn’t knowing more information: it’s successful, consistent implementation. It’s taking time to get to know yourself. It’s slowing down to listen to your body. It’s making time for the things that matter. It’s having boundaries in a world of distractions and over-stimulation. Its patience that pays off.
Sometimes, it’s investing in support from a professional. To hold you accountable and help you make sense of it all.

Your stomach (belly, tummy, abdomen, midsection) was not built to hold in the pressures of body discrimination, objectification (dehumanization), and oppression. Your stomach is meant to be soft and malleable. To expand and contract. To twist, fold, and even hang. It hold parts of you that keep you living, and maybe even grow the lives of others. Give your stomach permission to rest. To let go. To unclench. To take up space and radically reject a world that tries to minimize her down to her size or appearance. Your stomach is worthy of peace. Breathe in to her and thank her for her abundance. 🖤

*Bodies are meant to be diverse.*
👉🏿 Health is not at the root of why most seek a certain body size or image.
👉🏽 Most bodies are not meant to look like the Eurocentric default “ideal” of the 21st century.
👉🏻The only way we dismantle the hierarchy of bodies forced on us by a well established system of oppression is by refusing to accept it and it’s inhumanity.
