My new series for Summer 2026.

For the past 10 years, I've mostly been drawing people. But if you scroll all the way back to the beginning of this account, you'll find that my work was always split between portraits and another love of mine—architecture, especially Chicago.

Chicago's architecture is one of the biggest reasons I chose to move here from Thailand. Fifteen years later, I'm proud to call this city home.

It started with the grand, ornate facades of downtown landmarks like the Marshall Field Building, the Rookery, Tribune Tower, the Wrigley Building, and the Robie House. Over time, that appreciation grew into something more personal: the quiet beauty of the neighborhoods I've lived in—Wicker Park, where I rented my first apartment, Logan Square, Old Irving Park, and now Lincoln Square.

This series is dedicated to the buildings we pass every day. The classic two-flats, three-flats, Chicago bungalows, greystones, courtyard apartments, and corner buildings that make up the city's neighborhoods. They may not appear in every travel guide, but they're the places where Chicagoans build their lives.

These are the buildings that made me fall in love with Chicago.
