For human services organizations, high-powered engineering means nothing if your processes are in chaos.
Project survival doesn't depend on how fast you build. It depends on how well you govern. If you lack executive alignment, defined team ownership, and a structured data strategy, even the best tech investments will fail to stick.
Provisio specializes in process design and data governance. We bring clarity to your operations so your technology drives real, measurable impact.

When systems feel disconnected, leaders often guess at the fix. Do you need a complete system migration, a minor configuration tweak, or just better training?
Stop guessing.
Our fast Data & AI Readiness Assessment identifies where your organization is on its data journey, what hidden roadblocks may be holding you back, and the best next moves to strengthen systems and strategy.
Let's get a clear diagnosis.

AI can synthesize data fast, but human context is still critical.
At the Changemaker Collaborative Chicago, Jered Pruitt (Chief Business Growth Officer, Chinese American Service League) broke down how CASL balanced human expertise with AI during a program evaluation.
They used AI to analyze the bigger picture in the external landscape, like funding trends, policy shifts, and macro risks. But meanwhile, program directors and analysts caught the missing data and context that the AI missed.
How is your team's brain power working in tandem with computing power to supercharge your mission?
Because of AI, funders are receiving up to 9x more grant applications than usual, and they mostly all sound the same.
In our upcoming mini-series on transforming funding strategy in the age of AI, Fearghal Reid, Co-Founder at MASON Consulting Group, explains how to stand out to funders in this AI era.
A few thoughts from Fearghal:
Funders are happy to see real, authentic responses. Don't give the same generic, AI-written response as every other organization applying.
If bad data is a part of your grant application, AI will only compound the problems. Don't let AI tell you your impact. Use human context to manually map out your real-world impact, then use AI to synthesize it.
Watch the clip, and stay tuned for how to listen yourself when the mini-series is released!

A fast technology implementation is great (we do that too), but don't let a need for speed compromise quality.
A lot of Salesforce partners love to promise lightning-fast implementations at all costs. They slap a templated solution over your current workflows, celebrate the "go-live" date, and disappear. But "go-live" is just the beginning.
Because what happens on Day 31? Staff might be confused, your data is still untrustworthy, and all you've done is automate broken processes that aren't helping your mission.
We're different. Before technology even comes into the picture, we dig deep to clean up your data, map out more efficient workflows, and rally everyone in your organization to get on board with this massive change.
And even after you've launched, we stick by your side to ensure everything continues to work the way you intended.
Let's build something that lasts!

Is your CRM actually broken, or is it just your operations?
It’s usually a messy mix of both.
A poorly configured CRM, cluttered with useless fields, broken integrations, and a confusing interface, is a nightmare to use. But even the best software (we think Salesforce!) will underperform if you have poorly-run processes and workflows.
To fix this, you also have to focus on organizational adoption of the technology, not just implementation.
Process: Fixing broken processes before automating them
Platform: Building a streamlined CRM that is intuitive, not a chore to use
People: Getting everyone on board with using the new technology (and using it correctly)
The Provisio Approach: We fix your processes while we fix your technology so they actually work in harmony.
Our new talk show, The Resilient Human Services Leader, is now live! Hosted by Craig Maki, Chief Strategy Officer at Provisio, this series dives into the realities of technology transformation in human services with nonprofit & public sector leaders who've really done the work.
In this premier episode, we're thrilled to be joined by Alex Montgomery, Senior Director of Impact and Advocacy at Chinese American Service League! She pulls back the curtain on CASL's successful data sharing collaboration with 30 partner organizations nationwide, which powers detailed data visualization dashboards about the AANHPI community.
She covers:
- Why data disaggregation is absolutely essential to understanding the unique stories, hidden biases, and specific needs within our communities.
- How data standardization protects dashboards from becoming a fragmented "fruit salad."
- How training every staff member to become data literate improves long-term data quality and tech adoption. Subscribe today to watch the full premier episode! The link is in the comments.
And coming soon on The Resilient Human Services Leader: A three-part mini-series on modernizing technology funding strategy in the age of AI.
Stay tuned!

Does your technology plan look like checkers or 3D chess?
Checkers: "This intake tool saves us 10 hours of paperwork a week."
But what happens next?
3D Chess means asking about the operational ripple effects:
"Can our case managers actually handle this many new cases?"
"Is this newfound time actually going to be reinvested in client care, or will it just be spent dealing with another bottlenecked process?"
"Will this new intake data actually flow downstream? Or will case managers still manually enter that new client information into three other systems?"
If you don't think 3 moves ahead, merely automating an annoying task can create new headaches elsewhere in your organization. We're here to help you think downstream so your technology transformation is thoughtful and strategic.

If you're planning a digital transformation, system migration, or AI pilot, your team needs to first ask these 4 questions:
1. Are workflows consistent and documented, or does everyone do things differently?
2. Do we know the outcomes we really want, or are we just hoarding data with no purpose?
3. Is data privacy clearly governed, or are we relying on unwritten rules?
4. When we save our team 5 hours a week, where does that extra time go?
Taking the time to answer questions like these will provide the clarity needed for true technology success. Otherwise, you're just automating chaos.
We're here to help you think about these things and take the right action to correct them: https://provisiopartners.com/get-started
Want to know the absolute worst place for human services organizations to start with AI? Automating that one incredibly annoying, painful task you and your team just don't want to do anymore.
It's tempting, but that task is a headache for a reason, and you first need to evaluate why. Because if it's already completely off the rails, slapping AI on it won't fix the root of the problem.
As Chief Strategy Officer Craig Maki explains, you always need to look at your upstream processes when considering where to use AI. Fix the source, and the symptoms take care of themselves.
We're here to help determine where that process breaks and fix it so we can make AI as impactful as possible for you. See how: https://provisiopartners.com/advisory-services
