We cannot wait until Friday! 🎶🧡

GRAMMY-nominated artist and blind disability advocate Lachi’s new album, “Magnificent,” drops on 7/10, and we can’t wait for you to hear it.

The coolest part is that she partnered with CEL’s The Nora Project to create a free companion curriculum to go with the album - helping classrooms, families, and communities celebrate disability and difference.

Lachi ™ Recording Artist, Cultural Architect has created an album that is seriously FUN. The first singles “Fidget” and "Moves" have been stuck in our heads for weeks. We love when something is genuinely great and helps people see disability as part of human diversity.

🎵 Pre-save “Magnificent” now, then come back this Friday to explore the free curriculum at ExperienceCEL.org/Lachi

Tune in to Fox 32 Chicago this Friday around 9:15 a.m.! 📺

Lauren Schrero, CEL Board Member and co-founder of CEL's The Nora Project, will be spreading the word about the power and importance of inclusion, particularly in schools. Since March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, this is a perfect time to spread the word that Disability is just another natural form of human diversity!

At CEL’s The Nora Project, belonging isn’t something we simply talk about. It’s something that students experience every single day because of supporters like you.

Samira participated in our programming as a young student, learning early what disability inclusion, empathy, and leadership look like in practice. Those experiences stayed with her, and she is now pursuing a degree in Urban Education with a focus on Special Education, and is well on her way to becoming a teacher.

Today, your gift will help build the next generation of changemakers and includers, like Samira and so many others.

Please join us strengthening this work with a donation today at https://www.experiencecel.org/tnpdonation/. Gifts are paired with a matching amount from the Smith Tieken Foundation – doubling your impact up to $10,000.
