Economic Strategies Development Corporation (ESDC) envisions the Chicagoland area as a vibrant center of sustainable commercial and industrial activity. While ESDC empowers small businesses to flourish, it also works to attract fast-growing ones by leveraging the community's assets. Whether it’s our central location and Hubzone, culture and art, food establishments and restaurants or the proximity to world-class universities and medical districts, resources like TIF, SBIF, and Federal Empowerment programs also help sway them for future and long-term growth opportunities. ESDC has served the community on the Lower West Side of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois for over 40 years and plans to continue to add to its legacy for years to come.
