The goal of Genius Lab is to help students learn how to become better thinkers, learn basic programming languages, build mobile applications, pitch business ideas, and to offer them unique opportunities and real-world experiences.
Half of every order funds Lion Chasers — six weeks of leadership coaching for Chicago middle and high schoolers. Free for students. Not free to run.
We solve the knowledge gap between business and education gap between real world knowledge and classroom learning.
The question is, what are we preparing today’s students for?

I had an opportunity to share a stage with a coworker on neurodivergence in the workplace between teacher colleagues. As an educator, our # primary objective is to serve students, but sometimes we forget to serve each other, disregarding, not only our own understanding of self, but not even consider considering other people. This is part of creating a workplace culture that is free from self cliques that ultimately exclude people in a place where inclusion and diversity supposed to be paramount. to the work that do we do as educators.

Give your young creator the chance to design and build their own Android app using MIT App Inventor 2 — and learn the basics of starting a business in a fun, hands-on Saturday program.
WHAT STUDENTS WILL DO:
• Build a real app using MIT App Inventor 2
• Learn entrepreneurship basics (pre-teen level)
• Create a simple business plan for their idea
• Work in small teams
• Present their app at Demo Day for parents
Duration: 6 Saturdays
Sessions: 2 hours each
Ages: 5th–8th graders
Location: Spacish – Pilsen
Tuition: $325 per student
