The Studio For Change is where children, teens, families and adults workout solutions to the stresse At The Studio, we meet clients where they are.

The Studio For Change® is where clients come to learn, experiment, create and practice – a studio where children, young adults, families and adults come to workout solutions through a creative, therapy-based process that helps them better cope with the thoughts, feelings and behaviors caused by the daily stresses of 21st Century living. We listen to what clients want to achieve in therapy and look at the whole person – a total view of what’s going on in their life – to better understand the needs and potential solutions. Together, we plan a program using a wide variety of proven techniques to get to the heart of the stressor, and then we systematically ‘work the program’ to support the client in moving forward with their life. This may include:

• Setting personal life goals
• Managing feelings and behavior
• Improving relationships
• Enhancing physical well-being
• Other forward moving actions

Our goal is to help clients access their best self, quickly and thoroughly, what we call ‘healthy wholeness.’

Our therapeutic process begins with listening and enables our clients to:

• Feel better – there is some resolution.
• Feel safe, listened to /heard and challenged
in a good way to make a change
• Feel more equipped to cope with the
stresses of daily life or a particular on-going
situation
• Reach the goal they set for themselves and
feel satisfied
• Feel that the process and the work were
worth the monetary and time commitment
• Embrace the process of change, see
opportunities for growth and feel able to
move to on with their life because they have
the skills, tools and resources to do so

Why Studio For Change®? We look at therapy as part of a holistic healthiness - or healthy wholeness - for maintaining fitness of the emotions, behaviors and mind. At The Studio, we go a step further than just the physical well being that a fitness or yoga studio might address, and focus on the emotional effects created by the stresses of living in the 21st Century and the personal skills needed to work through these effects. For our clients, a fit and healthy mind enables them to create a fit body and a healthy life. Without that emotional fitness, it can be challenging to be physically healthy, and to live a fulfilling, satisfying life. At The Studio, we:

• Listen to our clients – and help them gain
clarity on what they need support about and
what they want to achieve
• See and work with the whole person to
make sure all aspects of their life are taken
into consideration
• Focus on the agenda and goals that the
client has set, and when appropriate help
our client see what they need to see without
explicitly telling them or giving advice
• Use a proven, solution-oriented, creative
process for attaining the results that the
client wants
• Guide clients through the process at their
own pace – we meet them where they are
and go from there
• Help them work through the process,
challenging them when appropriate
• Provide skills, tools and resources for
practical application by the client
• Help clients see the opportunity in working
the process, embracing change and moving
forward

In addition to our work with individuals and families, we also offer onsite programs for schools, businesses and other organizations. For more information about our onsite programs, please contact us.

🍀🪐👫 The best partners know these magic phrases:
• I don't want to make any assumptions so I'm asking you first.
• I can't text now, but I promise I'll call as soon as I'm finished.
• I need an hour to think; I wanna bring my best self to this talk.
• I'm really glad you spoke up; I had no idea that this was bothering you. Thank you for saying something!
• I'm not sure how to solve this, but let's figure it out together.
• I always want to ask you directly instead of assuming I know.
• Ok, it makes sense to me why you'd be upset about that.
• What can we do differently so this doesn't keep happening?
• I want us both to feel good about how we address this issue.
• If it doesn't feel good for both of us, let's work together to figure out what will.
