Democracy Burlesque

Democracy Burlesque - now known as DB Comedy - is Chicago's only theatre company dedicated to political sketch comedy and satire. Since its inception in 2006, "DB" has raised thousands of dollars and hours of awareness for dozens of local nonprofits, while writing and performing all-original comedy in shows built around specific political, social, and timely themes. Its first podcast, DB COMEDY PRESENTS THE ELECTABLES, is an extension of its 2017 season, with each show featuring one of the American Presidents, framed by lively discussions with local historians to talk about how history shifts and refocuses how we assess Presidents. DB COMEDY PRESENTS THE ELECTABLES is perfect for anyone who can't afford or get to HAMILTON! DB COMEDY PRESENTS THE ELECTABLES is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, SImplecast, Spotify, Stitcher, and TuneIn. Don't forget to rate and like and recommend us!
