🚨 BAKER MAYFIELD WAS RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE! 😈💜

The Vikings defense had Baker Mayfield in FULL PANIC MODE — scrambling, escaping, doing everything he could just to avoid getting planted in the turf.

Then he made the mistake. 😳

Trying to get rid of the football before the sack, Baker forced the throw… and ANDREW VAN GINKEL WAS WAITING! 🏈🔥

INTERCEPTION. VIKINGS BALL.

Baker avoided the sack… but couldn’t avoid the turnover — and ended up hurting his thumb on the play.

That Vikings defense was HUNTING. 😈

RUN FROM THE SACK. RUN INTO THE PICK. 😂

SKOLLLLL! 💜💛

🚨 WHAT KIND OF “WINNER” IS J.J. McCARTHY? 👀

Forget the high school record for a second.

Forget the National Championship at Michigan.

If there’s ONE thing I’m willing to call J.J. McCarthy an absolute WINNER at right now, it’s being a damn good teammate.

Because seriously…

How many quarterbacks would handle what McCarthy has gone through without completely changing their attitude?

He entered this season as QB1.

Then he got bumped down.

Then he got bumped down AGAIN.

QB1 ➡️ QB2 ➡️ QB3.

And somehow, every time the cameras find this dude on the sideline, he’s STILL celebrating.

Hugging teammates.
Hyping guys up.
Running over to congratulate the quarterback who is literally playing IN HIS PLACE.

That says something.

Now here’s where I’ve always disagreed with part of the J.J. conversation…

People constantly point to all the games he won in high school and the National Championship at Michigan and say:

“SEE?! J.J. McCARTHY IS A PROVEN WINNER!”

Okay… but does winning at previous levels automatically prove you’re a winner at quarterback in the NFL?

Because when Minnesota had to make its own decisions about who it trusted under center, McCarthy didn’t stay QB1.

He ended up QB3.

That doesn’t erase anything he accomplished before the NFL, and it certainly doesn’t determine what he’ll eventually become.

But RIGHT NOW?

I haven’t seen enough to crown J.J. McCarthy a winner as an NFL quarterback.

As a teammate, though?

ABSOLUTELY. 💯

Getting demoted once is difficult.

Getting demoted TWICE and still celebrating the success of the guys who jumped you on the depth chart?

That’s a level of maturity and selflessness you don’t see every day in professional sports.

His NFL story might still have a LOT of pages left to write.

So here’s my question, Vikings fans: Does the way J.J. has handled all of this make you MORE confident about his future — or does QB3 tell you everything you need to know? 👀🔥

Kevin O’Connell leads the way. Brian Flores brings the nightmares. That’s an ELITE coaching duo! 🧠🔥

The Vikings are 2–0 and sitting ALONE in first place in the NFC North, with two division rivals already handled. Everybody else? Enjoy the view looking up at Minnesota. 😎👑

Give these coaches their flowers—who’s glad BOTH are on our sideline?! 💜🙌

🚨 STEFON DIGGS JUST TURNED A TOUCHDOWN INTO A $14,926 PARKING TICKET 😭💀

This man went from THE MINNEAPOLIS MIRACLE to climbing a damn goalpost like somebody’s drunk uncle at a backyard BBQ. 😂🏈 The NFL saw Diggs hanging off that thing and basically said, “Cool celebration, Stefon… that’ll be $14,926.” 💸💸

Vikings fans will always remember DIGGS! SIDELINE! TOUCHDOWN! Now Washington gets DIGGS! GOALPOST! DIRECT DEPOSIT GONE! 😭😂

Nearly 15 GRAND just to dangle from a yellow pole for a few seconds is absolutely DIABOLICAL. 💀

WORTH IT OR STUPIDEST $14,926 EVER SPENT?! 👇😂

SKOLLLL! 💜💛 WHO’S READY TO RUIN CHICAGO’S SUNDAY?

🚨 CHICAGO SCORED 59 POINTS AND NOW BEARS FANS ARE PLANNING THE PARADE. SOMEBODY TELL THEM BRIAN FLORES ISN’T BRINGING CAROLINA’S DEFENSE. 😂💜💛

Sunday at noon CT, Minnesota walks into Soldier Field for a divisional showdown with plenty of noise surrounding Ben Johnson’s offense. Chicago wants to put up historic numbers. The Vikings want to send 70,000 people home complaining about their Sunday.

Carson Wentz, your table is ready.

With Kyler Murray continuing through concussion protocol, Wentz gets career start No. 100—for the team he grew up cheering for. He just came off the bench against Green Bay, threw THREE touchdowns, and helped Minnesota deliver 29 unanswered points alongside a defense that flipped the game.

His career record against Chicago? 4-0. Bears fans, apparently this man already knows the Wi-Fi password. 😂

Justin Jefferson enters with two touchdown catches in the opener. Chicago better locate No. 18 before every snap, because watching him celebrate afterward is a terrible defensive strategy.

Then there’s Aaron Jones, whose history against the Bears deserves its own property deed: 15-2 overall, 8-1 at Soldier Field. He needs THREE rushing yards to become only the seventh player with 1,000 career rushing yards against Chicago, joining Barry Sanders, Adrian Peterson, Jim Taylor, Joe Perry, Hugh McElhenny and Ahman Green.

Rodgers yelled about owning Chicago. Jones has been quietly collecting rent.

But let’s put the jokes down for a second: Minnesota has a serious rushing attack to stop.

Chicago piled up 291 rushing yards against Carolina—its most since a Walter Payton-led performance in 1984—and tied the season-opening record with SIX rushing touchdowns. D’Andre Swift ran for 124 yards, Kyle Monangai added 100, and Caleb Williams contributed 65.

Since 2025, Chicago has three games with 250-plus rushing yards. The rest of the NFL combined has four. That deserves attention, even if Bears fans are already ordering championship rings from the clearance aisle.

Minnesota held Green Bay’s backup backs to 66 yards on 20 carries, but Josh Jacobs was absent and the Packers’ line was banged up. Chicago presents a tougher test behind Braxton Jones, Joe Thuney, former Viking Garrett Bradbury, Jonah Jackson and Darnell Wright.

And Caleb can turn a broken play into a defensive meltdown.

He threw 17 touchdowns against the blitz last season and ranked third with 25 deep passes of at least 20 air yards. Since 2025, he has seven rushing attempts reaching 20 mph—more than every other quarterback combined—including two in the opener.

But there are openings. His completion rate targeting receivers with three-plus yards of separation was 75.6% last season, second worst in the league. He’ll occasionally miss the easy delivery, then pull off something ridiculous. Minnesota needs to punish the mistakes and limit the magic.

Flores blitzed him on 37.2% and 66.7% of his dropbacks in their two meetings last season, producing 16 and 14 pressures. Yet Williams’ sack rate against Minnesota is just 5.84%. Dallas Turner and company have to finish the job. Almost getting him doesn’t end the drive.

Don’t overlook tight end Colston Loveland, either. He had zero catches in the opener but played 60 of 70 snaps and ran a team-high 33 routes. After a huge finish to his rookie season and 193 receiving yards across two playoff games, expecting another disappearing act would be foolish.

Chicago’s rookie safety Dillon Thieneman also impressed: 10 tackles, a quarterback hit and a pass breakup while lining up all over the defense. He’s helping replace departed veterans Jaquan Brisker and Kevin Byard III, with Coby Bryant recovering from knee surgery.

Here’s where this game could turn: KEEP. THE. FOOTBALL.

Chicago led the league with 33 takeaways last season and forced three more against Carolina. Under Kevin O’Connell, Minnesota is 21-2 when winning the turnover battle and 36-4 when finishing even or ahead. Lose that battle? The record falls to 8-21.

Feed Jefferson. Let Wentz attack. Protect the ball, avoid pre-snap penalties, and make Chicago earn its possessions. The Bears don’t need gift baskets from our offense.

Wentz chasing win No. 5 against Chicago. Jones chasing history. Jefferson chasing the end zone. Flores trying to turn Johnson’s offensive masterpiece into a paper airplane. 🔥

What’s your score prediction—and which Viking ruins Chicago’s afternoon? Tag your loudest Bears fan and share this with the purple crew. Their Carolina highlights won’t tackle anybody Sunday. SKOLL’NN! 💜💛
