The collaboration aims to engage diverse audiences on multiple levels through its exploration of resonances between artistic mediums with a goal of developing a platform in which to create works that are intrinsically coalesced along these resonances from their point of inception.

We’re bringing our own take on Michael Gordon’s percussion sextet “Timber” to the Chicago area for 4 shows on Labor Day weekend! The performance features a custom responsive lighting installation — that means the lights are triggered by the music the performers play. The lights and lanterns were designed by Matthew McCormack and Jenn Figg , and each place we perform the piece is illustrated on some of the lanterns. It’s a mesmerizing experience, and you’ve got 4 chances to see it! Sept 3-6 — and all are FREE and open to audiences of all ages. Full details are at the link in our bio.
