Thank you to all the partners of the Citizenship & Immigration Expo at Fiesta del Sol This year! Chair by Diana Perez and Co-chair by Kevin Amaro. It was great seeing so many community members connect with pro-bono immigration attorneys, legal services, citizenship resources, know your rights, voting engagements and many more essential immigration resources. In a time where our immigration community is facing a log of uncertainly, it is most important that we come together.

The Stories of Us () is featuring two Talking Drum sculptures that were on display at Fiesta del Sol in Polk Bros Park outside of Navy Pier. These sculptures were created by Kaelyn Andrade () and Debbie Wong () and are rooted in themes of Origins and The American Dream. They stand alongside 3 other sculptures made by local artists. We feel so lucky to have been a part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for the debut of this new exhibition!

For the 250th anniversary of the United States, The Stories of Us reminds us that we are a nation shaped by many voices. Through their digital storytelling platform, you are able to listen to the stories of those in your community and share your own testimony. By sharing your story, you help shape the next chapter of this country.

Visit www.thestoriesofus.org/tsou to share your story today, and stop by Polk Bros Park to visit the new exhibition brought to you by The Stories of Us!
