Some days, it’s really easy to get caught up in the numbers.

How many people booked a class today? How many packages have I sold this week? How do I get more folks in the door? How many things are on my to-do list? How do I prioritize all this stuff???!!!

Some days it feels quite overwhelming.
I’ve had moments recently where I’ve thought, Can I really do all of this? I knew that building a business would be tough when I started, however, sometimes the short-term ups and downs can make you question whether you’re on the right path.

But when I start to feel a bit beaten, I stop and think about my students and all their accomplishments. I remember how I feel (like a proud mama) when I see someone tackle a move they struggled with before.

THIS is why I started.

I honestly didn’t open Intentional Flow Pilates just to fill reformers or build a business. I opened it because I truly believe in what movement can do for people, not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally.

The numbers matter. The marketing matters. The hard work matters.

But so does the long-term vision.

So today, I’m reminding myself not to measure the success of something I’m building by one slow week, one difficult day, or one moment of doubt.

Growth takes time.

And sometimes we have to keep showing up before we can see just how far we've come.

If you're in a season where things aren't moving as quickly as you'd hoped, stop to take a breath and remember why you started.

Don't let today's numbers make you forget tomorrow's vision. 💛

Keep showing up. Keep believing. Keep moving forward.

And most importantly, remember your why.

Leave the noise behind. Step into your flow.

With Love & Gratitude,
Stephanie

I LOVE Fall. I love football, oversized sweatshirts, making soup and the beautiful fall foliage (the biggest thing I missed when I lived in So Cal).

I love taking walks and seeing the amazing colors that mother nature gifts us, listenting to the rustling of the leaves and contemplating how I'm going to spend my time wrapping up another year.

Since I opened Intentional Flow in April, my thoughts have been all over the place. How do I get more members? How do I keep up with bookkeeping? What really is bookkeeping?, I gotta keep up with my socials! Why isn't my Facebook connect with my Instagram? I hate socials! Are my flows challenging enough? Are my flows too challenging?

I have not found a lot of spare time to really sit alone with my thoughts, organize them and prioritize. I'm looking forward to that first Fall foliage walk with Puck where I can stop, take a breath and really reset my mind.

When's the last time you were able to stop, take a breath and reset?

Last week, I talked about how you cannot pour from an empty cup. I know for me personally, a simple walk is a great way to fill my own cup.

As we step into a new season, let this be your reminder that it's ok to stop, take a breath and reset you mind. Listen to your thoughts, organize, prioritize and let them tell you what you need to fill your cup.

I recently had a conversation with a mom of 3 young children who loves her family immensly and is trying to be the very best wife and mom she can be. But, even after purchasing her class package months ago, hasn't started her Pilates journey yet. She's eager to start, but just hasn't found the time.

Taking time for yourself isn't selfish. It isn't indulgent. And it doesn't mean you love or care for others any less.

In fact, taking care of you may be one of the most important things you can do for the people you love.

When you take time to move your body, breathe, recharge and reconnect with yourself, you have more energy, patience and presence to give to everyone else.

So this week, I want you to ask yourself:

Where am I on my own priority list?

And if the answer is somewhere near the bottom, maybe it's time to move yourself up.

You don't need an entire day.
You don't need a perfect schedule.
You just need to decide that you matter, too.

Because taking care of yourself isn't taking something away from the people you love.

It's giving them the best version of you. ❤️

With gratitude,
Stephanie - Owner, Intentional Flow Pilates

I was reminded of this the other day while teaching a class. I watched one of my students trying really hard to keep up with another student who had been taking Pilates for quite a bit longer.

And it got me thinking…

How often do we look around and compare ourselves to someone who is simply further along in their journey?

I want my studio to be a judgment-free space where you can come exactly as you are. But I also know that comparison can sneak in—even when no one else is judging you.

The person next to you may have more experience, more strength, or more flexibility. That doesn't mean you're behind.

Your body, your experience, and your progress are uniquely yours.

So instead of asking, “Can I do what she’s doing?”
Try asking, “Can I do a little more than I could yesterday?”

That’s the progress I want you to celebrate.
Not someone else’s journey. Yours. 💛

Leave the comparison behind.
Step into your flow.

09/01/2026

I’m going to be completely honest—I’m a little guilty of this.

I’m the person who says, “I’ll start at the beginning of the month.”
Or, “I’ll start on Monday.”
Or, “I’ll start in the new year.”

There’s something about a fresh start that makes us feel like that’s when we’ll finally get it together.

And here we are… September 1st. A brand new month. 🍂

But I’m reminding myself that I don’t need a Monday, a new month, or a new year to begin.

I just need to be willing to take the first step.

Maybe you’ve been putting something off, too. Maybe it’s taking better care of yourself, getting back into a movement routine, trying something new, or simply making a little more time for yourself.

Don’t wait for the “perfect” time.

Start today. Start small. Just begin.

You don’t need to be ready.
You just need to be willing.

And who knows…maybe somewhere along the way, you’ll find your flow. 🤍
