ESP Presents

It’s a “Sarah-Selfie September” in review!

We started the month by producing the 13th Annual Raíces Gala for the The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture. We also helped a client celebrate a milestone 50th birthday, and had the honor of producing the launch event for The Scout Guide North Shore. Our team worked hard to create magic for our clients—shout out to the ESP team!

Throughout September, we attended Chicago Fashion Week® at 900 North Michigan Shops, scouted venues for upcoming events, and caught up with friends along the way. We concluded the month by celebrating a close friend’s wedding in Las Vegas.

October is a big one for us and we can’t wait to share what’s up next!

The 13th Annual Raíces Gala on September 10th celebrated a major milestone for the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture: national accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums (AAM)! NMPRAC is just the fourth Latine museum in the country to receive this designation, and the only Puerto Rican museum in the continental U.S. to earn this honor.

And, in true NMPRAC fashion, this achievement was celebrated with plenty of fanfare. From Los Pleneros arriving by boat and leading a plena procession through cocktail hour to incredible food, entertainment, and heartfelt tributes, the energy throughout the evening was palpable.

Congratulations to this year’s National Ceiba Award honorees Justina Machado , Anthony Ramos , Cucco Peña , and Billy Ocasio, and to Three Kings Lifetime Achievement Award recipients orlando_rivera and Mary A. Santana . Your talent, passion, and contributions have made an incredible impact.

If you haven’t visited NMPRAC yet, consider this your invitation! The museum is free and located in the heart of Humboldt Park, and an exciting new enclosed courtyard is on the way.

Congratulations to our friends at The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture . Thank you for trusting us with your big plans. It’s an honor to be part of your journey. ❤️💙

What an unforgettable experience producing the inaugural RISE Maui Summit, Hua Momona Farms Gala, and the 3rd Annual Maui Music & Food Experience! 🌺✨

When tropical storm “Lala” hit Maui right before launch, our team quickly pivoted, moving events and logistics to keep everyone safe while moving the mission forward.

Despite the last-minute shift, the week was filled with incredible moments, from inspiring conversations on regeneration, innovation, and sustainability to unbelievable food and live music overlooking the ocean. Huge thank you to our incredible speakers, artists, chefs, partners, and the resilient Maui community who made this week so special!

Mahalo to everyone who joined us and supported the Hua Momona Foundation. We can’t wait for next year! 📍🌴

We were so honored when The Scout Guide North Shore and Allison Grenesko Stecko trusted our team to bring their launch party to life at Juniper. It was a beautiful evening and we could not be prouder of how it all came together!

To our incredible vendor partners who made the magic happen, thank you.

We cannot wait to see everything The Scout Guide North Shore does next!

In Sarah’s words, “we always have a rain plan, but we don’t talk about the rain plan.” The Maui Rise Summit put that to the test, and we were ready! What started out rainy ended in perfect sunshine.

Follow along with the ESP crew through August. From Chicago to Maui and back it was an amazing way to close out summer.

That’s right - we’re hiring! Join our team as our next Event Producer.

Behind the scenes at a tasting for the 32nd Annual Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards, a fun perk of the job!

We visited with our friends at to sample the menu for the big night. Our biggest issue now is how to narrow down the choices. Every plate was SO good. Attendees are in for a real treat!

The CNDA’s will return to on June 25 for an evening dedicated to celebrating the individuals and organizations that are building stronger, more vibrant neighborhoods across Chicago.

We’re very proud to help bring this event to life year after year.

Sustainability in events isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about making more intentional choices, one event at a time.

Sourcing locally, building a reusable inventory, rethinking what actually needs to be printed, small shifts that add up over time and hurt the earth a little less.

Swipe for a few of the ways we are thinking about this at ESP Presents.

20 hours, two cities, a corporate event in Phoenix, a flight to Maui, and a little rain that wasn’t going to stop us…✈️

Event life isn’t always the easiest life, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
