As an avid science enthusiast (geek) I took some great photos of last nights lunar eclipse. I took my Canon and fitted the 300mm lens to get these photos. The first is a partial, and the second is the blood moon in all it's Hammer Horror glory!

Purple Moons has been selected for inclusion in the Pinewood Studios Lift-Off Sessions.

I will update further once the festival has concluded.

In order to expand the viewership of my new short film, Purple Moons, it's been entered into several free short film festivals.

Next week, 24th November 2018, our short film, We The People, is being screened at the Mobile International Film Festival, in Europe.

As 2018 winds down, I'm reflecting on the past year, and looking forward to 2019.

In 2018 I re-branded, and have been working on several scripts. One of which, 'The Last Stag' - co-written with my very talented writing partner Chris - is currently in Hollywood, being read by various producers. Feedback so far has been super positive, and it's currently with Paul Rudd's production company.

In January 2019 pre-production will begin on a new short film, for the festival season. The story is entitled, 'Mary' and I am currently putting the finishing touches to the script. I am hoping to publish a short list of upcoming projects in 2019, in December.

It's now 100 years since the Great War ended, and in this last 100 years we have repeated the same mistakes. We have failed to take heed of the lessons that history can teach us. Artists have, I feel, a unique opportunity. We can help history teach it's valuable lessons to contemporary audiences by dramatizing past events in interesting and emotionally engaging ways. Ensuring always to research thoroughly, and let the real events guide us, we can illuminate past mistakes so that we might choose another way in the future.

If we artists do our jobs properly, we will remember them.
