Extraordinarily proud to be nominated with my two boys for Three Days in Paradise short film where they shot 90% of it.

We are very excited to release the fall series in 2028.

While I try not to plug on here too much–which is weird because this is my corporate account—here’s the latest episode of The Quality Digest Roadshow featuring lots of NASA laser metrology action. Complete with wild alligators and record-breaking rocket explosions.

When you practice to work anywhere, you can have a great office.

Perhaps this should not be my first reaction upon remembering this part of Billie Park.

It’s nice when you get to tell a story about good things happening to good people.

Short version: a true friend of Paradise, Xan Parker, was nominated today for a National Emmy Award for a documentary produced for Netflix. It’s THE NEW YORKER AT 100.

Long version: Xan it is known to many of us for her work producing Ron Howard’s REBUILDING PARADISE documentary that came out in 2020. Since then she’s become a good friend of mine and advisor on my own THREE DAYS IN PARADISE.

I know it stays in touch with dozens of people on the ridge. I was lucky enough to see her in New York a few weeks ago, and it’s touching to see how much of an impression we left on her, and have so much of her heart is still on the ridge.

What inspires me to shout out from the rooftops is the film making business can be a rough, gross and dispiriting arena. But there are some people in it that are kind, thoughtful, dedicated, and the best kind of friends. People with small town values who work at the highest levels. You may have heard that this is true of Ron Howard (it is in my experience) but it’s triply true for Xan.

So this is just pointing out a good thing happening to a good person and a heads up… If you know her or have met her, today’s the day to let her know how you feel.

Shooting another year with RocketSpot’s latest graduate of our young directors program, which is definitely a real thing and not made up for an Instagram caption.

And now, a preview for what we've been working on over the last year for our good friends at Quality Digest.
