Jones family racing- points race #21

Baylee kicked things off for the Jones Family Racing Team by qualifying 6th quick overall and earning her a spot in the trophy dash. This was Baylee’s best qualifying performance ever!
Baylee lined up 4th for the dash. Wish a strong field of cars she was able to hold onto 5th.
Starting the main event in 9th, Baylee was able to avoid the big wreck on the opening lap, but still fell to the rear of the field. Baylee held on for a strong 13th place finish!

Elijah started the night timing in 9th quick. This lined him up to start 2nd in the heat race. Elijah had a good run and was able to home onto 2nd so that he could transfer to the A Main event.
Starting the main in 3rd, Elijah put on a solid effort, leading laps and showing his speed! Unfortunately on the white flag lap, Elijah lost the lead and ultimately came home 2nd. Still an overall strong night and points night for Elijah!

Ricky return to the the clones tonight again. He started by timing in 16th. After making some adjustments he went out 5th for his heat race, but was able to drive up to 2nd!
With the strong run in the heat, Ricky lined up 4th for the A Main event! A little bit of a mess on the opening lap shuffled Ricky back to 7th, where he ran for the reminder of the race.

An overall strong night and good points night for the Jones family! They will be back next week for the final points night.

Nixon picks up feature win #7 of the season!

With October here, Nixon debuted his pink Brest Cancer awareness kart for the month, in honor of his grandma.
He started the night timing in 8th quick. This lined him up to start on the pole of his heat race. Nixon got the start and stayed there picking up the heat race win!
This lined him up to start 2nd for the A Main event. Nixon got to the lead on the opening lap and never looked back, leading all 20 laps to park his breast canner awareness car in victory lane on the opening night with it!

Nixon would like to thank everyone who supports him and helps him week in and out!
Nixon will be back next weekend for the final points race of the season.

Baylee Jones qualified 6th quick tonight and made the trophy dash!

Saturdays are better when they are full of Race Day posts! Good luck to all of our drivers hitting the track!

ITS RACE DAY

With the season winding down, the Jones Family Racing team is driving into points race #21 full steam ahead!
Baylee has had a year full of growth in the beginner box stock class and is looking at the last two points races, wanting to finish strong. Elijah is still looking for his first win of the season, but that hasn't slowed his speed down at all. Ricky has been building a new kart and is ready to get on track and show his speed.

You can watch live on Fast Four Media with hot laps starting at 5:30pm.

The season is coming to a close, but we are excited to have a full field of drivers hitting the track tomorrow for points racing action!

We’re getting down to the final races of the year, which means the championship battles are heating up and every position and every point matters! Six divisions will be in action for another Saturday night of racing at Cycleland!

🏁FEATURE WINNER X2🏁

On Saturday night during points race #20, Logan Pike found himself in victory lane not just once but twice during the Grandpa George Trophy Night race.

He started the night by timing in 8th quick. This lined the rookie driver up on the pole of his heat race. Logan wasted no time getting to the front and driving away with the heat race win.

This allowed logan to line up 2nd for the A Main event. Logan once again got to the lead right away and never looked back, picking up the dominating A Main event win!

That wasn't the end of the night for the young driver from Gridley, CA. Logan then lined up for the special Grandpa George Motor race. Logan was scheduled to start 16th for the Main event, but due to some drivers not being able to make it, Logan ended up starting 12th. He quickly moved though the field and with three laps to go had found himself in the lead! Logan then drove away to pick up the A Main event win!

This was an exciting night for the young driver and defiantly one he won't be forgetting!

RESULTS | CYCLELAND SPEEDWAY POINTS RACE #20

The Jones Family Race Team was back at Cycleland Speedway over the weekend for Points Race #20!

Baylee kicked off the night by timing in 7th quick overall! She was sitting in 6th and just outside of the Trophy Dash before the final group hit the track.
Starting on the pole of her heat race, Baylee wasn’t able to hold onto the lead but still brought home a 5th-place finish, earning her a spot in the A Main.
Starting 16th in the main event, Baylee found her speed and put together some great laps, looking like a strong contender as she moved forward through the field. Unfortunately, with just two laps remaining, a part failure brought her night to an end.
Baylee was scored 15th, but that finish doesn’t tell the story of the great run she had all night!

Heading into the night with the points lead and only a few races remaining, Elijah was ready to defend his points lead.
He timed in 5th quick, earning a spot in the Trophy Dash. Starting 5th, he wasn’t able to move forward as he had hoped and settled for another 5th-place finish, lining him up 9th for the A Main. In an impressive main event run, Elijah charged through the field and found himself racing for the lead multiple times! After taking the white flag, he had to slow down to avoid a wreck, dropping him back to 8th.
A disappointing finish to an otherwise strong performance, but Elijah will keep his head up as he heads into the final few races!

Ricky Jones was back with the team this weekend and started the night by timing in 14th quick. He lined up 3rd in his heat race but fell back to 5th, sending him to the B Main. After making some changes, Ricky charged from 8th to a 5th-place transfer position, earning his spot in the A Main. Starting 17th in the main event, Ricky looked to be putting together a strong run as he worked his way forward. Unfortunately, a part failure brought his night to a halt, and he was scored 16th.

The Jones Family Race Team will take this weekend off to regroup before returning to Cycleland Speedway for the final two points races of the season!
