Assembling a 1936 Knucklehead top end. First year of the Knucklehead. Not sure when i'll see another one in my shop. Unicorn!

UPDATE!!

We’re officially moved out of our building in Chico. It’s an exciting step forward, but bittersweet to say goodbye to a place with so much history as a motorcycle shop.

Here are a few pictures of our new shop. We’re still getting organized, but we’ll be open Monday for business as usual.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this move possible, it truly means so much to us. Special thanks to even those who offered trucks, trailers, and their time. Our motorcycle community is the best!

We do plan to have a grand opening party once settled. For now stop by if you’re in the area. 😎

To Our Freeman Choppers Family,

The rumors are true, we’re moving!

After 15 amazing years in Chico, Freeman Choppers will soon be relocating to Orland, California. When we say soon, we do not have an exact date for the full complete move, but we’re thinking within the next month.
Owning our own building has been a dream we’ve worked toward for a long time, and we’re incredibly excited to finally make it a reality.
While we’re excited for this new chapter, it’s also bittersweet. Chico and the surrounding communities have supported us from day one, and we truly wouldn’t be where we are today without each and every one of you. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and helping us grow into a business that could achieve this milestone.
We know the new shop may be a little farther for some of you, but we’re only about 25 minutes from our current location and we like to think it’s a pretty good ride!
For now, it’s business as usual in Chico while we complete the move. Once we’re ready, we’ll begin operating immediately from our new Orland location with no downtime, so you can continue counting on us for all your service needs.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our new shop and celebrate this exciting new chapter together. Stay tuned for details on our Grand Opening. We hope to see you all there!
Thank you for being part of the Freeman Choppers family. Here’s to the next chapter!

Dedicated Success

I just got the privilege to restore this 1975 FX. Customer bought it off the showroom floor back in 1975 for $3,470.60. He is the same owner and it hasn’t ran in 20 years. I stripped it down had the frame powder coated, aluminum and sheet metal polished. While that was all being outsourced, I took apart and put back together every nut and bolt on this entire bike. Replaced all the chrome, upgraded the camshaft and made a custom exhaust, back to original. She’s back to brand new as she was 50 years ago and running like a champ.
