Hamilton County Fire Investigation Unit

HCFIU has been requested by Miami Township Fire & EMS for a residential structure fire. Investigators are responding to the 4600 block of Schinkal Rd.

Yesterday HCFIU had our bimonthly meeting and training. During our training investigators had a refresher on vehicle fire investigations. Thank you Colerain Fire for hosting our meeting!

HCFIU has been requested to the 1800 block of Chaucer drive, for a multi-family residential structure fire. Investigators were requested by Car 9101 and are assisting Sycamore Township Professional Firefighters Local 3907 with this fire.

Today investigators spent eight hours framing the 4 burn cells for our upcoming class. This class not only will provide the area with more investigators, but also is a fundraiser for our unit to purchase equipment to better serve our community.

Earlier tonight HCFIU responded to the 3800 block of Limerick Ave for a residential structure fire. Investigators assisted Sycamore Township Professional Firefighters Local 3907 with this fire.
