The Wonder Horse was pure ride-on fun, letting kids climb on, grab the reins, and rock back and forth like they were galloping across the room. Built tough with real springs and lots of imagination, it turned any space into a make-believe adventure.

My father gave me this strange tool years ago and told me, “You’ll understand when you need it.” I laughed at the time, but I still have no idea what it’s actually used for. There was a time when you didn’t need a proper cricket ground to have a great game. The street was enough.
A bin became the wicket, the gutter marked the boundary, and somehow every kid knew exactly how things worked. If a car came through, everyone moved aside. If the ball disappeared over a fence, someone had to go and get it.
No umpire, no scoreboard, no fancy gear. Just a bat, a ball, a few mates and an afternoon that seemed to last forever.

Neither did the baseball glove.

Neither did the movie ticket and the candy after.

Nobody told us it was character building.

We just knew the money felt different when our own hands made it.

And nobody could ever take that away.
