On behalf of the Adopt A Class Board and staff, congratulations to our largest district partner on the progress reflected in Ohio’s 2025–26 School Report Card! CPS earned 3 stars overall, 4 stars in Progress and 4.5 stars in Career-Technical Education.

Our CEO, Sonya Fultz, and COO, Megan Marshall, had the pleasure of visiting Superintendent Shauna Murphy this morning to celebrate this exciting achievement.

Today is a very special day… it’s our friend Louie’s Gotcha Day! 🐾 Thirteen years ago, Louie was adopted, and we’re so grateful that his journey has become part of the Adopt A Class story.

Through our longtime partnership with local author Danise DiStasi of Unleash Love-Eradicate Bullying, Danise and Louie have inspired the next generation of students through read-alouds of the Unleash Love: Louie’s Little Legs book series, sharing meaningful lessons about kindness, compassion, and inclusion. Happy Gotcha Day, Louie! 🎉

We miss seeing all the smiling faces, and we know you do, too! As we get ready for class visits to begin in October, here are a few friendly reminders for our mentors:

📅 Our mentorship program runs October–May, with class visits taking place monthly.
📩 Keep an eye on your inbox! Match Letters connecting Team Leads with their teachers will be sent in the coming weeks. Once received, teams can begin coordinating their visit dates for the school year.
🤝 Remember to CC your liaison on all communications so they can stay informed and support your partnership throughout the year.
