Our culture gives us plenty of reasons to resent, retaliate, cancel, and divide. But Jesus tells His followers to love their enemies and pray for those who oppose them. His way breaks the cycle of hatred without ignoring truth or justice. As our lead pastor, Tim Dunn, preached yesterday he challenged us to identify someone difficult to love and intentionally pray for them while refusing retaliation or contempt.
