October is ADHD Awareness Month. π―
For families raising a child with ADHD, the daily work of rebuilding routines and repeating instructions can wear on everyone, including the child who keeps falling short of expectations.
Our ADHD group meets Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 PM for children ages 6 to 9 and 10 to 13, along with their parents or guardians.
Sessions focus on impulse control, decision-making, frustration tolerance, social skills, and self-esteem. Register now! https://www.child-focus.org/contact/contact-us/mental-health-mt-carmel/?utm_source=meta&utm_medium=social

When was the last time you connected with your child's teacher? You don't need to wait for conferences or a problem.
A quick note introducing yourself, sharing what helps your child learn, or simply saying thanks builds the partnership before you need it.
Teachers and caregivers are on the same team, and kids do better when both sides know it. π
