Supporting our kids starts with showing up and investing in the care and support they need to thrive. đź’™
bi3 Fund President & CEO Jill Miller and Board of Trustees member Eric Kearney joined area leaders to support Hamilton County’s Issue 10, the Children’s Services levy.
Every child deserves to grow up safe, supported and connected. By strengthening the systems that care for children and families, we can build the conditions for lifelong health and wellbeing together.
Join us in supporting our kids. Vote YES on Issue 10!
Issue 10 is Hamilton County’s Children’s Services levy
The health and wellbeing of our community are shaped by more than healthcare. Public decisions influence the schools, neighborhoods, services and opportunities that help people and families thrive.
Voting is one way each of us can help shape those decisions and work toward a future where everyone has a fair and just opportunity for wellbeing.
Ohio’s General Election is Tuesday, November 3. The deadline to register to vote or update your name or address is Monday, October 5.

A new space for mothers to feel seen, supported and connected is open in Hamilton! đź’ś
Every family deserves a fair and just opportunity for health and wellbeing. We were proud to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for The Shiloh Center for Maternal Mental Wellness at the Booker T Washington Community Center, joined by bi3 Fund team members Jena Bradley and Marian Black and community partners.
Supported by a $500,000 bi3 grant, the Center offers therapy, healing circles, education and other resources from pregnancy through three years postpartum. Its culturally affirming approach centers Black and brown mothers and birthing people while welcoming all local mothers.
Congratulations to The Shiloh Center and the Great Miami Valley YMCA on creating a place where mothers can find care, connection and community.

What does it take to create lasting change?
It takes listening deeply to communities, sharing power, strengthening organizations and using every tool available to reshape the systems that influence health and wellbeing.
A new paper from FSG Reseach, The Funder’s Palette: A Spectrum of Approaches for Systems Change, highlights the bi3 Fund and our partners as examples of systems change in action—from centering young people in decision-making through Hopeful Empowered Youth (HEY!) to advancing policies and community-led efforts that help mothers, babies and families thrive.
We’re proud to share what we’re learning as we work alongside our partners to build a future where everyone has a fair and just opportunity for health and wellbeing.

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month—a reminder that connection, compassion and support can make a meaningful difference.
Mental wellbeing is shaped by the people, places and systems around us. When people feel seen, supported and able to access help when they need it, we create stronger communities where more people can thrive.
At bi3, we’re grateful for the many partners across Greater Cincinnati working to strengthen mental health and wellbeing, reduce barriers to care and make sure people don’t have to navigate hard moments alone.
Together, we can help build a community where everyone has a full, fair and just opportunity for wellbeing.
