🐀 Ratboy is out NOW on Spotify! (Also Apple Music 🍎 but they added us to the wrong band just search for it until we get it fixed) 😬
This song was brought to the table by Travis McCoy. He wanted me to take a stab at lyrics with him and we came up with a song about a weird middle school kid called Ratboy. This is actually based partially on someone I knew in middle school that had a rat tail haircut but within the story it came to encompass all the weird stuff ourselves and others did as kids during that time.
Ultimately the song is about the dichotomy of love/hate/bullying toward kids during this pivotal time of growing up and where some may have found us revolting there was an equal number of others that were intrigued and enamored by the odd nature of these unique individuals.
