🐾 Those eyes! 😍👀
Teaching your puppy the “Focus” command is about so much more than getting an adorable picture!
Focus is one of the most valuable skills you can teach your dog. It teaches them to check in with you, even when the world around them is full of exciting distractions.
✨ Why do we love teaching Focus?
🐾 Builds communication and strengthens your bond.
🐾 Helps redirect attention away from distractions.
🐾 Creates a foundation for loose-leash walking and reliable obedience.
🐾 Encourages your puppy to look to YOU for guidance in new or exciting situations.
And the best part? You can start teaching this skill at any age!
By rewarding your puppy for making eye contact, you're teaching them that paying attention to you is worth their while.
Because before we can ask our dogs to listen, we need to teach them how to pay attention! 💚🐶
A little peek at what we’ve been up to lately..
Different dogs, different goals, and lots of little wins along the way. From building confidence and better leash skills to working through distractions and strengthening communication between dogs and their people—no two training journeys look exactly the same.
That’s one of our favorite things about private in-home training; we get to meet each dog and family where they are and work on the things that matter most in their everyday life.
We’ve so proud of the progress these pups and their people are making!

Big paws up for these two cuties who officially graduated from Puppy Class! 🥳🐶
They’ve worked hard, learned new skills, built confidence, and had plenty of treats along the way. 😉 We’re so proud of how far they’ve come — and we know this is only the beginning! 💙
Congratulations, graduates! 🎉🎓 Now go show off those new skills!

“What treats do you use?” is probably one of the questions we get asked most as dog trainers. 🐾
The real answer? It depends on the dog! But Charlee Bear is one of those brands we find ourselves reaching for again and again.
They’re easy to toss in a treat pouch, great for training, and—as you can see—we have plenty of willing taste testers. 😂
Thanks Charlee Bear Dog Treats for keeping our training crew motivated! 🐶🤍
