Oregon Notary Network

We’re proud to be part of the 2026 West Coast Notary Conference in Salem, Oregon!

The Oregon Notary Association and Oregon Notary Network share a commitment to supporting, connecting, and strengthening Oregon’s notary community through education, advocacy, resources, and collaboration.

We’re looking forward to connecting with notaries from across Oregon and the West Coast, learning together, building stronger professional relationships, and continuing the conversation about the future of our profession.

If you’re attending, come find us and say hello! We’d love to connect with you.

PSA for both the public and notaries. I’ve recently posted in local groups, due to an experience with a client who was quoted $450 for a one page, one signature acknowledgement.

The State of Oregon regulates notarial act fees. Travel and convenience fees must be agreed to prior to the appointment.

What’s in your notary bag?

“Hey… can you notarize this?”

If you’re a notary, you’ve heard this more times than you can count.

But here’s the truth:
Not every document needs a notary.
And not every document should be notarized.

Knowing when to say yes—and when to confidently say no—is part of doing this work the right way.

That’s what separates someone who just has a stamp…
from someone who understands their role.

At Oregon Notary Network, we believe notaries should feel confident in every decision they make.

Because accuracy matters. And so does trust.

At Oregon Notary Network, we focus on helping notaries build a solid, compliant foundation—not just guess their way through it.

If you’re ready to:

• Understand Oregon notary laws
• Handle real-world situations with confidence
• Build a professional and sustainable notary business

You don’t have to do it alone. We offer 1:1, group and team/corporate training sessions.

Not sure what a notary actually does? You’re not alone.

A notary public is there to protect you—verifying identity, preventing fraud, and making sure your documents are properly executed.

Whether you’re signing real estate documents, estate planning paperwork, or something as simple as a permission slip, having it notarized adds an extra layer of security and credibility.

Professional. Grounded. Trusted.
That’s the standard at Oregon Notary Network.

Every notarization matters.

Behind every signature is a responsibility to verify identity, follow proper procedure, and protect the integrity of the transaction. A notary journal isn’t just paperwork—it’s your record of accountability.

At Oregon Notary Network, we believe in doing things the right way from the start.

✔ Proper recordkeeping
✔ Clear processes
✔ Confidence in every appointment

Whether you’re new or experienced, professionalism starts here.

Notary training shouldn’t be rushed. It should be done right.

At Oregon Notary Network, we focus on what actually matters in the real world—not just passing a test, but performing with confidence and compliance.

Education. Compliance. Professional Standards.

If you’re ready to build a notary business the right way, we’re here to guide you every step of the process.

Professional. Grounded. Trusted.

April 18th we will be having a Zoom - OREGON NOTARY BASICS class.

This class is 3.5 hours and satisfies the SoS requirement for new notary applicants and renewing notary public’s.

We will have a May class as well, however the instructor is currently tied up in tax season, so it has not been scheduled yet.
