This situation went from panic to overwhelming gratitude 🚨🙏

We checked our security cameras, and were horrified to see the horses had gotten out and were in our front yard!

We weren’t home so we called our captain, Coy Jenkins. Not only did he agree to help without hesitation, but he also called dispatch and let them know that some Mounted Patrol horses were out. Deputies rapid-fire responded and before we knew it, our cameras picked up multiple units coming down our driveway! It was less than 15 minutes from the time the initial call to Coy was DIALED to the time the first unit made it down our driveway. They got all the horses put back up, and we hear it was even a bit comical! Most of those who responded are not “horse people”.

For those who don’t know, this is not the kind of response that loose livestock calls normally get.

We have always been proud to be a part of the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, but this was really powerful. These horses are CLEET-certified commissioned Deputies, and their team acknowledged that and showed up for them. Not just because the human Deputy Imhofs needed help, but because the equine Deputy Imhofs did as well.

Every horse on our team is owned and funded by their human partners, so this response was not fueled by any sort of financial loss or “inventory” requirement.

We had a little horse spa day today. Recoil is getting huge! (And shedding) 🖤

This weekend, we walked out to the pasture to check on a fawn who had been left unattended for two days. When we got to her, we noticed her face was covered in ticks. One eye was almost completely swollen shut from the infestation and she was very lethargic. We called Wild Heart Ranch and they were more than happy to take the sweet girl. Turns out, they are only 10 minutes away from us! We scooped her up and took her right over. Their place is amazing! It feels more like a wildlife wonderland than a “facility”. Go give them a follow!

BIG NEWS! 🙌🏼
We are thrilled to announce that today Sarge passed his evaluation for the RCSO Mounted Patrol unit. Deputy Dash To War is now a Deputy! 🚨
His next step will be completing the CLEET Mounted Patrol course which will enable him to be a commissioned Law Enforcement Officer.

Sarge got some work in today! The new owners of Riverbend RV Park & Event Center have made a LOT of improvements, with lots more planned. We were so grateful to have a beautiful place out of the mud to ride! Follow their page and keep an eye out on their event announcements and open ride times, I know we plan on spending more time out there!
