I had a great weekend at the Battle at Adobe Walls cowboy action shoot at the Wolfpack Ranch! I actually shot a main match! I got to meet and compete with some great new people. I vended just a little. I hung out with Howling Wolf of Mernikle Custom Holsters and Slickbald (Custom Leather) and talked leather work and more. I helped break in the Longhorn Saloon at the ranch. And I came in second in Classic Cowboy! Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this event so great!

Every once in a while I need something. My custom. Hat from Buckaroo Hatters needed a proper hat band. Hand drawn and carved western scroll and floral.

A few pairs of roping cuffs finished up last week. Hand tooled with soft leather wrist rolls and buckle closure.

Another rig finished up in time for the Prince of Pistoleers match this weekend. This is my Classic Cowboy Competition rig. All the great looks and lines of a Mexican loop rig with hand tooled borders with plenty of competition features built in, making this a perfect companion to you Classic Cowboy gear. I just finished up this SASS competition rig with hand tooled borders, nickel spots,, stainless steel conchos and buckles, and steel lined holsters. The steel lined holsters provide great stand off for easy handling. Matching shotshell belt with heavy elastic loops available. Headed to Prince of Pistoleers in Kansas this weekend.

I built this SASS Wild Bunch Rig last week for the PA State match and it sold first day. Time to make another. The last pics show my traditional cut holster compared to this more competition focused design.
