In his latest piece for the series 'Creating a New International Order', Hudson outlines how America's imperial objectives in the 21st century have been led by hubris and miscalculations.

"Opinion polls showed a steady decline in Trump’s approval rating and rising opposition to his war. He repeatedly voiced his fear that he might go down in history with a reputation like that of President Herbert Hoover for presiding over a depression,” he writes.
