Brioche, now perfectly named Dakota, was SO excited to finally meet his mommy, but we really don’t know if him or his mommy were more excited! 🥹
This handsome boy took his journey to his home in Michigan, and is about to be the most spoiled, loved boy in the whole world. The adventures ahead of him being the only child to a mom just waiting and ready to completely give in to that adorable face… a boy can only dream of this life!
As always, go home’s are bittersweet, but to say “see you soon” after his mom completely melted over seeing him in person for the first time… I gave him the biggest kiss and knew he was exactly where he was meant to be 💞

Focaccia had her best day ever, and it started with a quick super early morning plane ride with her favorite trusted flight nanny! ✈️🥹🎉
Once she arrived, I think dad got excited and mistook her for his best catch yet… I mean, he’s not wrong, I guess! 🤣🎣 (In all seriousness, she did get a little plane sick, so the “greatest catch hold” is more than understandable 😂)
Focaccia, now perfectly named Lumi, finally met her parents after they planned and waited for their new best friend to arrive! Lumi is already BEYOND spoiled, and loves everything about her family, and everyday life. We miss your sweet face and silly personality, but seeing how much fun you’re having does our hearts so well. Bumblebee found his happily ever after, AND he even got to keep his adorable name! 🥹🐝🍯
If we could’ve picked one puppy to have a big family full of kids, we definitely would’ve picked bumblebee… it was simply fate, once again, that they found him 🤍
Everyone was over the moon to meet him, play with him, and give him LOTS of treats to try and make themselves his favorite family member right off the bat 💛
It’s always so bittersweet, but knowing he lives close by with such an amazing family, excited and ready to adventure with him every day, really makes it hard to be anything but over the moon for him. We love you so much bumblebee, and can wait to hear all of the adventures this forever life takes you on! CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉🏡🔑🎾💦🦮🤍🐾

I just have to say a HUGE thank you to the puppy families who when getting their baby, respected my time, my program’s policies, and our boundaries as a whole 🤍

It’s unfortunate that I’ve had to become so strict with certain procedures, but I promise, there is always a reason.

The level of entitlement that can come with some applications and general inquiries honestly astounds me every day… and it’s getting worse as time goes on 🙃

Some slightly dramatized examples from the past 7 days:

“I’m going to plan to come to your house tomorrow at 9am to meet all of your adult dogs, and all of your puppies. You don’t even have to tell me your address, because I googled you! You know, I want the perfect puppy to “choose” me. And no, I’m not placing a deposit prior because I have zero intention of not wasting your time and energy”

“I haven’t applied and don’t plan to tbh, but I’m going to call you for about 2 hours to ask you the most irrelevant questions, insult you and your dogs based on nothingness, and tell you every ounce of my life history, with zero intention of moving forward… ever”

“Can you send more pictures even though you just sent me 20 that were taken today?”

“Can you send more videos, 1. him howling and talking at you- can he say english words yet? Get that on video. 2. Him off a leash in a public setting so I can see if he’ll run away. 3. Him with a small animal to see his prey drive. Also, a video of him doing sit, stay, come, roll over, and heel… and if you don’t, you won’t have my business EVER!”

“Okay, but can you send MORE specific content of my choice, because THEN I will place a deposit, I promise!” …👻

“Can you rewrite/change your contract because I just don’t like this part, and I’m the client so you HAVE to do it for me… and right now at 2am!”

“I’m going to bring my dog to meet your puppy even though you don’t know my dog, its health history, or its temperament with a small puppy, and I know you also said no; because if they don’t immediately become best friends, I want my deposit back!”

“Can you drive him 8 hours one way to me? Oh that will cost me because gas is expensive and time is valuable? I need to use your transporter? Ridiclous, nevermind”

“This puppy is already heavily reduced, has all of his vaccines, is potty and crate trained, and is perfectly socialized and healthy in every single way… so will you take 75% off since he’s older?”

I soooo wish I was exaggerating 🙃

On any given day, I can be talking to upwards of 20 families who sound absolutely wonderful, only to be run around for days, sometimes weeks, because I’m trying so hard to be accommodating and avoid hurting anyone’s feelings. In the meantime, a different WONDERFUL family often reserves that puppy, after being warned that may happen if they don’t commit after endless hours of communication. But I won’t get into that topic on this post… lol
Ultimately, this behavior becomes disrespectful of my time, my work, and most importantly, the puppies I pour an unbelievable amount of time, money, energy and love into.

This isn’t a job I clock in and out of. This is 24/7. There are living, breathing little lives depending on me around the clock, on top of everything that goes into running the actual program behind the scenes. This doesn’t include having a family, running another successful business, and TRYING to have a life… at least just a tiny bit, sometimes! 🙃

So if you’ve messaged me and I’ve gone a little quiet, I promise I’m not ignoring you. I may just be taking a minute to decompress from the ridiculousness that sometimes comes with doing this every single day… and by “doing this” I do not mean my puppies who are sweet, adorable, and soul filling… it’s the HUMANS 😂

And to the COUNTLESS families who were overly respectful, patient, prepared, accommodating, and understood that boundaries and policies exist for a reason when you found your baby: THANK YOU. THANK YOU. AND ANOTHER THANK YOU! You truly make this so much more enjoyable and remind me why I love doing what I do 🤍

Melody, now perfectly named Juneau after her family’s most memorable vacation this summer, found her forever home just in time for them to come home and welcome her with big open arms! 🥹 She has such a loving family, who she clearly had no issue covering in kisses instantly! 💞

This boy has waited so patiently for his turn, and now he finally has the absolute best family, and is going to be the sweetest little heart healer after the loss of their previously adored baby. Through tears of happiness and excitement, he snuggled right into his mommy’s arms and has already been having the best time being one very spoiled boy 🥹

We love you so much, Sparrow, and can’t wait to watch all of the fun adventures this life takes you on! 🎉🍂🏡🍁🎾🦮🤍🐾
