Redefining Darkness Records
Novus rursum post tenebras spero... Expect the highest level of productivity possible as a label and our artists as musicians. Expect to be made uncomfortable.
There was a time when heavy, unfiltered, and dangerous music was harvested and supported by those unafraid to venture to those parts of the mind and soul unknown to the masses; the very left hand path of the psyche that when tapped flows through ones veins for eternity. Redefining Darkness aims to quench that very thirst for heavy music that not only epitomizes metal, but also pushes it further to new, exciting, and unique boundaries. While many labels and distributors are content with capitalizing simply on the commodification of “dark” and “evil” music, Redefining Darkness seeks artists whose artistic visions and musical endeavors challenge the norms of society and the underground itself. Expect to venture where few dare. Join us in Redefining Darkness. https://redefiningdarknessrecords.bandcamp.com

UK death metal force The Bleeding return with their new album, Godless Communion, OUT NOW!
Marking a defining new chapter for the band, Godless Communion introduces Craig Land (ex-De Profundis) as The Bleeding’s new frontman following the departure of longtime vocalist Germ. Rather than simply replacing vocals on an already completed record, Craig’s arrival ultimately reshaped portions of the album around his distinctive delivery, pushing The Bleeding’s already vicious combination of death metal brutality and thrash-fueled aggression into even darker and more sinister territory.
At the same time, Godless Communion reaches throughout The Bleeding’s history and into the wider death metal underground. Longtime vocalist Germ remains present through special guest appearances, while Dutch death metal legend ( Adrie Kloosterwaard ) appears on Be***al Bloodlust. Ryan Howes (Sodomized Cadaver) joins the band for their crushing rendition of the Cannibal Co**se classic “Born in a Casket”, and original The Bleeding vocalist Themis K. returns for a special appearance on a reimagined version of Death Eternal.
Speaking on joining the band, Craig Land comments:
”When Tasos approached me about joining The Bleeding, and having spoken to him about his vision for the band, I jumped at the opportunity. The new album, Godless Communion, is totally killer, and I was thrilled to be asked to re-record the vocals so that I could be a part of it and be integrated into The Bleeding so quickly. It has been a whirlwind so far, and working with people so passionate and committed to the music and lifestyle has rekindled my own enthusiasm for playing again. I can’t wait to help take The Bleeding to the next level, both musically and on stage. Prepare to die!”
From the speed metal-infused assault of Altar of the Ram, through the Adrie Kloosterwaard collaboration Be***al Bloodlust and the sinister transformation of Immortal Flesh, Godless Communion captures a band undergoing a major evolution without sacrificing the brutality at its core.
Violent, relentless, and steeped in pure death metal hostility, Godless Communion stands as both a defining moment in The Bleed
All aboard the chugging train… into the Labyrinth of Silence. ☠️
