Mention a rewarding project to Conor, and he'll probably start by talking about the team behind it. He believes the best outcomes happen when passionate people come together around a shared goal, turning an owner's vision into reality. You can see that mindset in the way he supports project teams across the firm, contributes to technical standards, and mentors colleagues. Looking ahead, he's excited to help carry Karpinski's technical excellence into the future.

Jessica has had a front-row seat to Karpinski's growth over the years. While the firm has evolved, what stands out most to her is watching the people grow alongside it. She's seen interns become full-time employees, celebrated weddings and growing families, and watched colleagues begin well-earned retirements. Those experiences, along with opportunities to give back through initiatives like Harvest for Hunger and American Red Cross blood drives, are what she values most about being part of the firm.

Supporting Healthcare Design in Pittsburgh

Karpinski is proud to be the Lunch Program Sponsor for the Inaugural AMFP Greater Pittsburgh and AIA Pittsburgh Healthcare Symposium.

The symposium provides a forum for candid discussion about the factors influencing healthcare facility design today. We value the opportunity to be involved with the healthcare design community in the regions where our teams call home.

Connecting Streetsboro's City Center

The new Streetsboro City Hall is part of a long-term city center initiative, creating a centralized location for municipal services and future civic investment.

Karpinski provided civil engineering design for the site, including grading, utility design, stormwater management, parking, roadway improvements, and pedestrian infrastructure. The design coordinated the new facility with adjacent public facilities while accommodating future phases identified in the City's master plan.

The completed work delivers the site infrastructure required for the City's long-term vision, improving accessibility and establishing a connected civic campus.

Honorable Mention at the Green Building Challenge

Congratulations to the project team behind the University Circle Inc. Offices at Magnolia House, which received an Honorable Mention in the Water Conservation & Management category at the Cleveland 2030 District Green Building Challenge.

The recognition highlights the project's permeable paver parking lot, a sustainable site solution designed to manage stormwater where it falls, reduce runoff, and support healthier waterways. The system is projected to reduce annual stormwater runoff by more than 415,000 gallons.

Thoughtful engineering often happens below the surface, and it's rewarding to see those solutions recognized for the impact they make.

We're proud to be included in the Pittsburgh Business Times' ranking of the region's largest engineering firms.

Since opening our Pittsburgh office in 2015, we've partnered with clients across Western Pennsylvania on projects spanning healthcare, higher education, mixed-use development, hospitality, and more. Our work with organizations like UPMC and projects such as The Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino highlights the variety of industries and communities we serve throughout the region.
