BeHappy/StandardPlumbing (AZ-AA) made quick work of the local conference ‘B’ team GTL/Legacy/Dirty 34-9, scoring 11 in the bottom of the 1st, 16 in the bottom of the 2nd, and they left GTL on the field with a 7 run bottom of the 3rd inning with the final blow being a grand slam by Andrew Hall, his 2nd grand slam of the game.

BeHappy out homered GTL 12-3 in the game and the top of the BeHappy lineup, Zack Smith, Danny Higa, and Andrew Hall went a combined 12-15 with 3 HR, 13 RBI, and 11 runs scored in 3 innings. Richard Rollice, Kade Christensen, and Kyle Johnson each went 4-4 on base in the win as well.

In a game that perfectly illustrates what Classic Ms on a 300-foot field can turn into at the Conference level, BeHappy/Standard Plumbing rallied late and walked off the Bay Area Legends, 34–32, in Seattle Dual #2.

Bay Area jumped out early, hanging 2 in the first and then a 12‑spot in the fourth behind a barrage of home runs from Isaac Gonzalez, Adam Harrington, Randall Adams, and others. Gonzalez’s grand slam in the fourth blew the game open and helped Bay Area build a 20–11 lead, at one point stringing together four straight defensive zeros against BeHappy. Harrington and Adams each left the yard multiple times as Bay Area piled up 14 home runs and 39 hits on the day.

But BeHappy refused to go away. After scoring 11 in the first, they went completely cold for four innings, then exploded for 11 runs in the sixth to get back within striking distance. Matthew Brady, Kade Christensen, Jaggar Harjo, Joel Sanchez, and Zack Smith all contributed in a massive momentum swing, with BeHappy tightening the score to 23–21 and setting up a wild finish.

Bay Area answered again in the top of the seventh, stretching the lead to 32–22 on more long balls, including a third homer from McClure and another shot from Mac Rio. That set the stage for one of the crazier Conference endings you’ll see with a Classic M and unlimited home runs: trailing by 10, BeHappy mounted a furious comeback, cutting the deficit to 32–29 and loading the bases.

With the tying run at second and one out, Zack Smith delivered the dagger – a deep shot to right‑center for a walk‑off grand slam, sending BeHappy to a 34–32 win. Smith finished with 4 RBI in the game, while Brady, Christensen, Harjo, and Sanchez all posted on‑base percentages over .800, and BeHappy totaled 34 runs on 30 hits with 10 team home runs.

On the Bay Area side, Tavarez, Franklin, Adams, Henderson, and McClure all posted OBPs above .800, and Harrington and Adams combined for multiple homers and big extra‑base damage. Despite out‑homering BeHappy 14–10 and carrying a double‑digit lead late, Bay Area couldn’t quite close the door in the seventh.

Played on 300‑foot fences with 80‑foot bases, Classic M Dudley balls, and unlimited home runs, this game is a textbook example of how quickly the run environment can spike at the Conference level – and how no lead is safe when both lineups are stacked and the ball is flying.

Joe Joe Bennett stays red hot with back-to-back MVPs.

Joe Joe Bennett followed up his Smoky Mountain Classic MVP by taking home the Tournament MVP award at the Seattle Dual #1, capping off one of the hottest stretches of the 2026 Conference season. In Kent, WA, Bennett posted a ridiculous .885 OBP with 21 runs, 28 RBI, and 11 home runs, once again driving the Dan Smith offense in the biggest moments.

When the stage has been the brightest, Bennett’s been right in the middle of it with clutch swings, traffic-clearing homers, and constant pressure on opposing pitchers. Back-to-back Major MVPs is rare air in Conference USSSA, and Joe Joe is making a strong case as one of the premier big-game hitters in the sport right now.

At the Christan Dowling Dual #1 Major, Bradley Jones was absolutely ridiculous, going 22-for-26 with 22 runs, 9 home runs, 25 RBI, and a .846 OBP. He took home Offensive MVP for the tournament, and if you watched him all weekend, it was easy to see why.

For the 2026 season, Bradley has been doing this at an elite level all year long. Through 270 PA, he’s posted 191 runs, 32 doubles, 72 home runs, 198 RBI, and a .763 OBP. Those are video game numbers, and they prove he’s been one of the most dangerous hitters in Conference USSSA.

Another heavyweight battle. Faron Fry on the mound for Dan Smith, Travis Clark for Resmondo, and a game that had absolutely everything.

Resmondo struck first when too many walks came back to bite Dan Smith, and Cory Briggs went deep in the top of the 1st. Tyler Marshburn answered with a diving stop at short to keep it close, and Tyler Storey turned in two ridiculous knuckleball catches in left field in the 2nd to hold Resmondo scoreless.

Then things got wild. Resmondo exploded for 11 in the top of the 3rd, but Dan Smith fired right back with an Andrew Collins grand slam. Still, it was 20-15 Resmondo after 3.

Dan Smith's defense stepped up in the 4th, throwing out Briggs trying to stretch a single into a double, and the bats followed with a monster 10-run 4th — Collins and Austyn Dawe both went deep for 3-run shots to flip the lead 25-23.

The back-and-forth kept coming. Arlis Miller's grand slam in the 5th put Dan Smith up 34-30, Resmondo clawed within 2 in the 6th and forced a 1-2-3 inning, then Tyler Marshburn's 3-run homer in the top of the 7th gave Resmondo a 36-34 lead heading to the bottom of the frame.

Needing 2 to tie, 3 to win, with plenty of homers left in the tank — Dan Smith delivered. Leadoff single from Jeremy Fry, a fielder's choice, a single from Josh Riley, then after a mound meeting, Resmondo elected to walk Austyn Dawe to load the bases.

Up stepped tournament MVP Joe Joe Bennett.

GRAND SLAM. WALK-OFF. GAME OVER.

Dan Smith wins it 38-36 in an absolute classic.
