Sometimes we can become so focused on the structures, traditions and practices of our faith that we lose sight of its essential message. Father Bob reminds us that beneath all the layers lies Jesus’ simple invitation: "Follow Me." By returning to the heart of the Gospel, we rediscover what it truly means to live as His disciples.
Jesus reminds His disciples, “Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.” Father Bob challenges us to consider how we use the gifts God has entrusted to us. Do we cling to them for our own benefit, or do we recognize that God's blessings are meant to be shared generously in service to others?
On this Feast of Corpus Christi, we remember the incredible gift Jesus gives us at every Mass: His true Body and Blood, offered out of love for us. Father Bob points out that every time we receive Holy Communion, we encounter the living God – the One who heals, forgives, strengthens and remains with us always.

Like a great mystery story, the truth is often revealed only at the very end. Today, we celebrate the greatest mystery of all: the Holy Trinity – one God in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Though the Trinity stretches beyond human understanding, Father Bob reminds us that Scripture reveals a God who is always present, active and inviting us into deeper faith. And perhaps, only at the end of our earthly journey, will the mystery be fully revealed.
