As we admire Downtown Cleveland shining blue tonight, we're incredibly grateful to see the Terminal Tower illuminated in support of CAL and in celebration of 20 years of our ArtWorks program.

It's a special way to kick off a milestone weekend as we prepare to celebrate two decades of providing paid arts apprenticeships and workforce development opportunities to more than 2,000 Northeast Ohio 10th-12th grade youth this Saturday, August 1!

We're honored to see our Inspiration Through Music (ITM) & University Circle Police Department Community Ensemble featured by cleveland.com 🎶💙

This partnership, in collaboration with the University Circle Police Department - Cleveland, Ohio and The Cleveland Police Foundation is about so much more than learning music. By creating alongside one another, youth and officers are building trust, confidence, teamwork, and meaningful connections that extend far beyond this program.

We're incredibly proud of the impact this program has already had on the participants, their families, and our community, and we're grateful to everyone who has helped bring this vision to life.

Now, it's time to celebrate! Join us for the program's ✨ FREE culminating performance ✨as participants take the stage to showcase everything they've learned over the past eight weeks.

The Summer 2026 ArtWorks apprentices have been hard at work, exploring the theme of resilience through visual arts, sound recording, audio/visual media, and sketch writing and performance.

As they prepare for the ✨ArtWorks 20th Anniversary Celebration✨ on August 1, they're creating original work, curating a gallery that celebrates 20 years of ArtWorks, and building leadership, communication, and workforce readiness skills along the way.

This experience is about so much more than creating art. It's about empowering young people to grow as artists, leaders, and changemakers.
