Congratulations to the Benedictine Sisters of Erie who stood up to false voter fraud accusations and were recognized by the National Association of Secretaries of State in January. Today, the PA Secretary of State was on hand to recognize the voting records of some of the Sisters.

Marilyn Madigan, Past President of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH), stopped by today and presented WRAC team members Sr. Susan and Joyce Needham (also an LAOH member) with a check from their national convention. WRAC is so proud to be supported by this grand organization dedicated to the promotion and preserving of Irish and Irish American history. We are so grateful to Marilyn and all LAOH members for this gift!

From the very first panel to an entire row of windows, this week has brought one of the most exciting transformations yet. What a difference glass makes! It's exciting to watch the building transform before our eyes—and even more exciting to see our temporary office reflected in the windows of our future home.

This cherished statue accompanied the Sisters on their voyage from France to America in 1864 and remains a symbol of their courage, faith, and missionary spirit.

👞 Mother Anna's Shoes
These shoes belonged to Mother Anna Tabouret, foundress of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, and serve as a tangible reminder of the woman whose faith and leadership shaped the congregation's mission.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we are reminded that the stories of women, stories that witness to resilience, courage and vision must never be forgotten. These women sacrificed so future generations of women would have the right to participate in the democratic process.

Happy Anniversary to our partners the Sisters of St. Joseph Third Order of St. Francis!

On July 1st Sisters and Associates gathered at Jennings to launch their celebration of the community's 125th Anniversary. In the morning they attended mass and afterwards enjoyed donuts and coffee. Later in the day they shared a supper meal together and joined the larger community on zoom for a presentation that included a message from the Central Board, a historical reading of the founding day in 1901, prayers, a tour of the new anniversary webpage, and special greetings from friends and other special people.
