Every year, I have every intention of taking a great first-day-of-school photo.

Every year, the morning arrives with its own plans.

This year, with my youngest heading off to kindergarten, I decided we all deserve a more celebratory way to mark the start of a new school year.

So I’ve teamed up with some of my favorite local creatives to turn back-to-school photos into something a little more memorable.

Kids will create their own back-to-school sign with , enjoy a little music with , and step in front of the camera for a portrait you’ll be glad to have when the first day of school rolls around.
