We’ve been keeping a close eye on the weather all week, and while the skies may be a little rainy right now - the forecast looks to be opening up this afternoon and setting the stage for a fantastic Friday evening at Shaker Square!

Join us TONIGHT from 7–9 PM as Vino Tinto brings the beats, rhythm, and vibrant energy of Latin music to the greens with an irresistible mix of salsa, bachata, merengue, and Spanish rock.

Come ready to dance, enjoy a cocktail or dinner, and soak up the sounds of summer with friends and family. The concert is FREE and family-friendly – just bring your blankets and lawn chairs.

By wildly popular demand, we’re once again welcoming Outback Ray’s Amazing Animal Show to Shaker Square!

Get ready to meet some amazing animals up close, discover fascinating fun facts, and experience an afternoon of adventure with expert handler outbackrays.

🦎 5:00 PM: Join us for a 45-minute live animal adventure – followed by a very special opportunity to snap a photo with Sponge Bob, the albino Burmese python! 🐍📸

And that’s not all! Enjoy free face painting, live music, ice cream, lawn games, and plenty of family-friendly fun. Whether you’re a curious kid or a lifelong animal lover, there’s something for everyone.

Cleveland Neighborhood Progress was awarded a CDSG grant for $50,000 for Shaker Square! The CDSG grant will be utilized to repair facades and the integrated gutter systems. This will continue to build on the capital investments we have been making over the past several years. The improvements will allow us to continue our lighting work with This is Cleveland and install lighting that will up light the historic architecture of the Square. Thank you Cuyahoga County for your continued investment in Shaker Square!

Escape to a tropical state of mind as the Shaker Square Summer Concert Series continues with Scott Sopata Music on Friday, July 24, from 7 – 9 PM.

Known for his relaxing steel drum performances and infectious island energy – Scott Sopata Music will transport you to paradise without ever leaving the Square! Sit back, unwind, and enjoy a Margaritaville-style evening featuring favorites from Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown Band, Bob Marley, and more.

This FREE, family-friendly concert is the perfect way to spend a summer evening right here in the CLE. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, gather your family and friends, and come early to enjoy dinner, drinks, or a tropical smoothie or cocktail from one of Shaker Square’s local restaurants.🍹

Shaker Square has received a big lighting upgrade! Decorative lighting is now installed at the tunnel entrances leading to the Square from the south. Additionally, a projection system has been mounted on the side of Dave’s to light up the large blank theater wall in Quad C. The projection will be programmable with Shaker Square, script Cleveland and seasonal projections. We are so grateful to This is Cleveland for choosing Shaker Square to expand their lighting program outside of downtown!
