What is it all for? What is it all about? What makes life meaningful and fulfilled?

“Time is filled with swift transitions” are lyrics from a traditional hymn that forever ring true, especially since I have a better understanding of what that actually means; Yes, words that actually MEAN SOMETHING and carry weight past the moment uttered or written!

As I step into a new year and celebrate yet another birthday this beautiful Leo, July day, I am reminded of how blessed I am beyond all the superficial things that I could complain about, wish for, hope for, want, need etc. I am blessed yet again with more time; another chance to be a better person, do better, to forgive, to be forgiven, to apologize, to stand my ground and reaffirm my convictions and plow through more understandings and perspectives, to gain new insights, to observe, absorb, and understand better.

This is a moment in time to really take it all in, to be grateful for all my blessings; a moment to understand that life does not give me what I deserve, but responds to how I negotiate what I want/ need in various spaces. And for all the things, people, moments that cannot be bought, negotisted or replaced, including family, friends, colleagues, grace, mercy, health, strength and even the very life that I love, love and love to live, I am GRATEFUL, for I am BLESSED BEYOND!

So, here’s to another year of greatness! For I am becoming the best version of myself I can ever be! Here’s to better! Here’s to more life! Here’s to more gratitude, knowledge and understanding! I thank God for another chance to get it right! And we celebrate along the way! DALE! 😎♌️👑🙌🏽🦁🎉🥳🫶🏽🥂🍾🙏🏽
