Cleveland SCORES (America SCORES Cleveland) inspires youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world. SCORES provides unique after-school programming for youth in Cleveland public schools, teaching soccer, creative writing and service-learning to measurably improve fitness, literacy and community engagement.
What they'll remember most from Festival '26 isn't just the soccer. It's the friendships they built, the conversations they shared, and the chance to experience cultures from around the world, all in one week.

Jayden Blevins first joined Cleveland SCORES as a student at Robinson G. Jones School. Now, he's back at the very same school, this time as a SCORES soccer coach, helping the next generation of Poet-Athletes build confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.
His journey is a reminder of the lasting impact one coach and one opportunity can have.

At Cleveland SCORES, service learning is about showing our Poet-Athletes that they have the power to make a difference right where they live.
at Archbishop Lyke School recently organized a school-wide food drive, collecting 377 items for the Harvard Community Services Center. They came up with the idea, rallied their school, and delivered the donations themselves.
It's more than a service project. It's leadership, teamwork, and learning what it means to care for your community. We're so proud of our Poet-Athletes for turning compassion into action! ❤️👏🏼

What a way to celebrate the FIFA World Cup Final! ⚽🔥
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to watch the match, cheer on the youth 5v5 tournament, and spend the afternoon with us in Public Square. It was great seeing so many kids out on the pitch and soccer fans from across Cleveland come together to celebrate the game.
A big thank you to Cleveland Soccer Group, Cleveland Astra, Forest City Cleveland, and Downtown Cleveland for helping make the day such a fun community event!

Today's FIFA World Cup Final had us thinking back to an unforgettable day for our Poet-Athletes. 💛⚽
Watching Brazil vs. Egypt together was an experience they'll never forget, and it's just one of many moments that made this summer so special for our students.
This year, six Cleveland SCORES Poet-Athletes joined youth from SCORES affiliates across the country at Festival '26, where they built friendships, played football3, and experienced the World Cup alongside young people from around the world.

Some of the coolest Festival '26 moments were the World Cup watch parties! Watching the Morocco vs. France World Cup match together at Tall Ship Boston, right on the waterfront, was something special. Surrounded by new friends from across the globe, our Poet-Athletes cheered, celebrated, and experienced the World Cup exactly how it should be shared, together. ⚽️⭐️
