Image 1: the comparator circuit hiding inside your PCM that watches the injector driver.

Image 2: a real scope capture with an OPEN injector circuit. Current's got nowhere to go, so the comparator reference voltage leaks through and charges up like a capacitor — giving us that telltale tooth pattern.
