Naturepedic handcrafts organic mattresses and accessories for adults and children. and Canada. Visit us online to find a location near you.
Naturepedic began when founder Barry Cik could not find a truly safe crib mattress for his first grandchild. He and his sons set out to create a safer product that parents could trust: the Naturepedic organic crib mattress. Since becoming a leader in the marketplace, Naturepedic has added kids and adult mattresses to the line-up. Naturepedic mattresses are certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and pass all federal flammability standards without the need for any flame retardant chemicals or barriers. Additionally, Naturepedic baby and kids products are made without potential baby allergens such as wool, latex, and soy. There are no harmful or questionable chemicals in any of Naturepedic’s products, such as vinyl/PVC, perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), phthalates, or adhesives. You can find Naturepedic organic mattresses in authorized retailers across the U.S. Customer service will be happy to assist you with any questions you might have; feel free to contact us by calling 800-917-3342 or via email at [email protected]. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm EST.

Meet Barry. He's our founder. He's a chemist, an engineer, and genuinely one of the smartest people we know — the kind of person who runs deep-dive sessions on materials and certifications for the whole team every few weeks because he wants everyone to really understand what we make and why.
He also just sent this to the entire marketing team. Completely unprompted.
"If you're hot and sweaty every night, it's time to get a Naturepedic mattress." -Barry, probably at 3 AM, probably right.
(Also: temperature regulation is a real thing we design for. So... he's not wrong.)

None of this fixes the mental load of motherhood overnight. But permission doesn't have to arrive as a grand gesture — it can start with one full night, one honest conversation with a partner, or one bedroom that finally gets its due.
Moms don't need someone else's approval to rest. They just need to stop waiting for it.
