Governor DeWine's announcement is proof that even longtime supporters of the death penalty can change when confronted with the facts.
But here's what keeps us going:
Every person on death row has a name. A story. A family waiting for them.
And every person returning home from prison deserves the same chance at redemption.
This is what happens when we organize, educate, and refuse to give up. Let's carry this momentum into reentry justice.
