Not long after relocating to Atlanta, I got to experience that playoff energy in person. The crowd was loud, the arena was electric, and it was such a great night to be there.

And somewhere in the middle of it, I started thinking about something Angel Reese said in an interview with Law Roach a few years ago:

“I have a voice and I’m not going to stop using my voice for the people that know that I am making an impact.”

That stuck with me.

Maybe because I know what it feels like to be an athlete. To be watched, judged, compared, cheered for, and questioned.

At some point, you have to ask yourself: What are you going to use your voice for?

I’ve had to answer that question as an athlete and as a leader.

You won’t always be understood. You won’t always be agreed with. You still have to decide what you stand for.

That’s the kind of conversation I care about. Leadership, resilience, confidence, and having the courage to advocate for yourself and others.

I’ve lived these lessons before I ever started speaking about them. And I’m excited to bring those experiences into more rooms, in front of athletes, young people finding their voice, and aspiring leaders who are learning what it means to stand up for themselves and others. 💃🏻

An NIL deal can change an athlete’s income overnight. It shouldn’t change the family’s financial expectations just as quickly.

The real opportunity is bigger than the check.

It’s teaching athletes and families how to make informed financial decisions today that can shape their financial future for years to come.
